My legs finally felt better today - at least they didn't feel sore when you prodded them. So I decided to do today's tempo run training workout.
It was SO BORING.
It's easier to run on the treadmill because you don't have to track your pace - just set it, and it's gentler on the joints. But it's seriously seriously utterly boring.
I kept glancing at the distance and it was crawling. I hopped off a few times to grab a swig of water. I was so glad when I was done.
Tempo run - 1 mile easy, 4 miles mid-tempo pace, 1 mile easy.
