iTunes card giveaway!

I have one USD$15 iTunes gift card credits to give away!

So, why do I want to do this random giveaway? Well, recently, I have been selling some of my pre-loved items and the readers that have bought them really touched me. It was a lovely experience meeting new people. Everyone is so nice and I really want to give something back to all who have been reading.. Also, B.T and I received some good news over the last week or so and it's nice to spread some love and luck around :) I am also hoping to get to know my readers better!

It's not a lot of credits.. but I am paying for it out of my own pocket as a small thank-you from me to one lucky reader. Since most either use an iPhone or have an iPod or so,

What do you need to do?

1) Leave me a comment and answer the following questions - all comments will be screened so if you are shy and do not want to publicly display your comment, let me know.

Double layered racer-backs

If you ask me what my favorite style for a top is? I'll answer - a racer-back!

I love racer-back tops or dresses. It's a very flattering style, it shows off the back but not too much skin and you don't exactly need to wear a strapless underneath it - cross back works.

P.S Have you participated in the iTunes card giveaway :)

And more

Beef stew with stout

Salad - I heart tommy-toes

Yes I am in a bit of a blog roll here and this won't be my last post for today.

You see, I love chilling out at home. But when I don't socialize and yabber with people, I need an outlet to do so. Yes, I have constant verbal diarrhea :P

Anyway, this a little out-dated but that was my dinner when I went home the other day. My friends call me a fake Singaporean and Chinese because I don't and can't take chilli, I don't fancy eating rice except in sushi. My staples are bread, pasta, noodles (at least its Asian!) and potatoes. But when you grow up on food like the above, or fusion-style 'Chinese' type food, it's not my fault that I turned out like this :P

Well, the beef stew was lovely and so was the homemade garlic bread. Everything was home-cooked.

P.S Have you participated in the iTunes card giveaway :)

Gyoza No Tetsujin

Looks like the gyoza we had in Tokyo

When we were holidaying in Japan, another food that we really enjoyed was the gyozas. Some of it is done quite differently. On the last day of our trip, the boy was hungry and we landed up at this random gyoza shop. The gyozas were a lot smaller and skinnier and almost rectangular in shape. He ate about 40 -_- In fact, he spent our money that was meant to take the train to the airport!

I still miss those gyozas a lot as they were really good. Freshly made on the spot, they had a nice bite to it and it had the right amount of meat and chives inside it.

In the food hall at Ion, there is a tiny stall that sells gyozas. I think it's pretty decent and makes a good snack. There was a promotion - 4 gyozas plus a tonkotsu ramen for S$9.80. I got it but the ramen was disappointing.

The noodles were average and the soup broth was really thin. The single slice of pork was just standard - I love those that are slightly browned and char-grilled at the edges. As for the egg, it was just okay. I think most places can't get the egg right. Tampopo still does it the best.
