VII Athletics Club

It appears to be the case that the bulk of co-workers that leave the company, land up opening a related business. One opened a basketball specialty store, another a sports factory outlet door and my ex Thai co-worker jumped onto the bandwagon too and opened an awesome sneaker shop and he and his wife design some of the products that are sold in this store.

The origin behind the name of the store is interesting. 'V' stands for his surname and his wife's name. 'VII' represents the number '7' in roman numerals and 7 is his favorite and lucky number. The store decor and inspiration is very interesting. It resembles a church and in fact, the fitting rooms almost feels like a 'confession room'. There are beautiful stained glasses and premium wooden fixtures. Almost everything display is an art by itself. You'll be able to find premium basketball kicks and some flashy sneakers here. But I think what is really popular is the t-shirts that are designed by B himself with rather outrageous graphics :P

This cool concept shop is based in Bangkok in the heart of Siam Center and if you are visiting, do check it out.
